hey looking for good all season tire car will be in all road conditions. 06 a3 , dsg.. dont want to spend a forturne either any suggestions..

Try looking at the Yokohama YK520 which goes for $128 each at discounttire.com (Discount Tire / America's Tire), good tread pattern with protection of rims, quiet road noise. Have a set on a another car and these are awesome.

Since you live in NY, I honestly would at least consider getting a dedicated winter (steelies and winter tires) setup.

X2 to the dedicated snows, but if you want a really good A/S tire then look at the Nokian WR series tires.

See Tire rack comparison test identified in previous thread. I had Bridgestone RE960AS on my just-sold BMW 325i - very nice, although I have dedicated winter tires. Sounds like the Goodyears or Pirellis would be better, depending on your priorities.
