Default Any way to uninstall the factory-installed adapter?

Hello A3 experts,

I am getting a great offer on a '08 A3 that has most of the options I want except for the i-pod adaptor that I don't need. I've never had an ipod becuase I am more than happy with my phatnoise system thatinstalled in my 05 jetta TDI, and to be honest I would prefer to have a regular aux input.

Is there any way/possibility to un-install the adaptorso I can sell it on ebayand recover some of the$250 that they're gonna charge for it?

I appreciate your help!

Sure, just unplug it from the back of the radio.
