Yeah these tires are supposed to be pretty good and pricy too.

re: T2T's rpms, when i hit 145 mph at the dessert, my rpms was around 5700....... but i'm not coming near 140's again.

Ya my eye's aren't as young as they use to be. I was at 135 on the 118 the other night and the RPM's where more like 5300 not 6300. Sorry. But I have to agree with A3Night, I couldn't get it over 140. The car went up to 135 easily but when I hit 140, the acceleration just stopped. I had about another 1.5 inches of throttle but when I went to the floor, nothing happened. It just wouldn't go any faster.

... most S owners dont go over 110... and here are the small A3 owners doing top speed runs like it's nothing.... +1 to all of you.

i stilll don't know what the trouble of going faster than 140...... i'll do another run someday and i'll take pix of me going 145
