Audi A3 Glove box rattle
I have an annoying vibration/rattle coming from the right side of the glove box on my (RHD) A3. I understand that there is a service bulletin which addresses this fault. Can anyone Help?
While it may sound like it is coming from the glove box, you very likely have the familiar "Fuel LIne Rattle." There is a TSB for it, but it is very easily and cheaply repaired as described here:

For God's sakes - haven't you guys ever seen foam tape? If you take it to the dealer, all they're gonna do is find the noisy spot, shim it with a piece of tape, send you home, and charge Audi of America $150. Shortcut the process.

heres an idea, try remove the glovebox yourslef and try locate the problem,on my 2000 model, the glovebox is fixed on the right hand side to a pillar along with the centre console, maybe its loose and the nut is rattling around?worth a shot man, plus its not a major job,you could do it in an hour tops for the whole lot!
