Hi Everyone, I am new here today!
I have an Audi A3 2009 and i am trying to find out if its possible to have my sunroof and windows close when i lock the car.
Any help welcome.

 

Use the key to lock your doors, hold the key in the lock position until windows and sunroof close.

If it works in my 13 year old A4, I would assume it works on the newer cars too...

OR:

Get VAG-COM and reprogram it to where you can close your windows using the key fob, holding down the lock button. I've never actually done this before, so I can't tell you how to do it... but, again, it can be done on a 13 year old Audi...

 

Hi, and thanks for your reply. Vag-com not supported by mac and then i think ill need codes to reprogram! Might be better taking it to a garage i think.

 

Thre is a vag com locator somewhere online. Vag-com owners seem to be very friendly and helpful (and will have a PC).

I had it done by a kind vagcom owner. It'll probably run you a couple hundred bucks at the dealer

 

Go check out the VAG-COM locator on the top of the B5 sub forum. A number of people from all over the country have offered their vag com services for as little as a six pack of beer. B5ers are generally a very nice bunch of folk.

 

i know there's a way to open/close windows from your keyfob --- i'm sure there's a way to do what you want to do with vag-com

 

Well it requires a VAG-COM to do, but it is very easy. Here's a link: How to enable comfort window open close using the key fob remote on VW Jetta, Golf, GTI, or Audi A3

I followed those steps and got mine working fine. Guess you need a Windows based PC though.
