Can anyone help me with my sunroof problem?? I have a 2001 audi A3 1.6 sport 96k miles, tried shutting the windows and sunroof the other day using the remote by holding down the lock doors button on my key, both passenger and drivers window closed fine, but the sunroof only went 3/4 shut. When i tried turning the ignition on and closing it using the dial switch it wont close fully, moves fine backwards and forwards but seems to have re-defined the positions on the dial, ie closed is 3/4 open, setting 2 takes it nearly all the way back where that was normally setting 8 and if i push the switch up, to tilt the sunroof open it just about closes it but in sliding position not tilt, any help would be much appreciated

 

I am having exactly the same issue as you, apart from I have to turn the **** back and forth until it shuts, this takes about five minutes which at the end I am saying to myself that I will never open it again.

Any help would be great!!!
