Is it bad Karma
I am heading over to England to do some work for my company, I was going to stop in at an Audi dealership and try to pick up some S3 badges for my car. I know we don't get them here so I was wondering if that is accepted amongest you all.

Uh oh! You might have just openned the door to a huge debate. Personally, I don't have a problem with it, but I also have my car rebadged to an S3. Others will find it horribly wrong.
Cheers!

Let the debating begin... why would you badge your car something it's not? So if an admiring Audi fan asked if it was a real S3, would you say "yes?" Wouldn't it feel silly to say "no, I just put the badge on 'cause I wish I had an S3." I'm not knockin' my Audi brethren, but it doesn't make sense to me. Now a KIA badge...

I'm trying to find the magnetic "TypeR" badges. I can't figure out where the kids around here get them from. I've seen them on everything from where they belong to Neons. There is a steak dinner and lots of beers on the line for this (friend of mine does not believe I would do that to my Audi). I need the magnetic badge though.

Some dude down the street from me has a Mustang with a GT-R badge. Nismo tuned, too, I bet. [sm=smiley36.gif] I just laugh when I see it. Same with some BMW owners who stick M badges on their cars. The way I see it, you're overstating your car's abilities by putting the S3 badge on it and you onyly stand to embarass yourself when it's time to race. Just my personal opinion though. I always prefer to have a modest exterior and let the car's performance do the talking.
However, if you do want the S3 badges, they can be had on eBay. I'm sure it would be convenient to pick them up while your in England, but it may actually be cheaper to get them off eBay. Right now, 1 GBP = USD 2.05
