Personally... I would want to put A3 badges on an S3! Perhaps its cause I can be sneaky and would want my car to shine when people only think it is glistening. But hey, what does it matter anyway cause I can't get an S3 here anyway!

I personally don't agree with upping the badges on your car if its not there... but understating it is another story!! My old boss used to have a S600. He removed the S600 badges from the back and only left the V12 on the sides. Anyway one day I asked him about it and his response was that he didn't want everyone to know he was driving around in a $100k+ car, but wanted people who care about cars to know what he was driving! Even though he had helped me close on a few sales prior... this is when I really respected him!
[align=center]Oh... and I don't want to change this argument here by having people respond with the typical there are a lot of other cars I would buy with $100k it wasn't his only car!

All in all, my leason of the day is to let your cars do the talking... not what its wearing!

At an old job I knew someone who replaced his Mercedes S320 badge with a S600 badge - talk about a stretch there. I mean he had wider wheels + tires, but not going to fool anyone (except perhaps his neighbors).

We were atthis club in the OC. He was heading out and I walked him out as I was going to have a smoke. After the valet brings his "S600" around, he tried to hit on some girl who was leaving (maybe a waitress?) who...

CALLED HIM OUT! Heh heh heh.

The next day he debadged his Mercedes.

I like my original A3 2.0T (red T) badge. OEM, tasteful, draws no attention... the classic sleeper.
