I'm getting a 2007 a3 next week for a company car. I would like to upgrade the chip in it, but I can't switch anything else out as that would make it obvious that I am modding my co car, which is a no no.

So who makes a chip that will work well with stock intake, exhaust, fuel system, etc? Thanks for the assistance.

 

Sorry, I was not specific. The car is the 2.0t with sports package and the 6 speed manual.

 

I think the APR Stage 1 will be excellent. I would also reccomend you get the additional Stock flash also.

 

You must work for a cool company that they allow something other than a very reserved sedan. Are you sure you want to upgrade property that belongs to someone else?

 

APR, Revo and GIAC are all good in their own ways. APR seems to be the most popular choice.

Sorry, I did some searching but it seems like most people are upgrading their software along with the typical exhaust and intake mods.

 

Any of the companies listed have similar 91 octane programs. Just pick one and you'll be happy.

I was just doing research on the chips for the A3's. Revo has the biggest gain of 60hp and 92ft/lbs torque. APR is only 46hp and a little less torque. Revo is also $100 cheaper than APR and $50 cheaper than AWE. AWE gains are the lowest at 30hp and 60ft/lbs.

Bottom line, go with Revo [sm=smiley20.gif]
