Hello all just wanted to say hello, I just picked up my first Audi yesterday. It's an A3 S line, DSG, Brilliantred with black inside, tech package, audio package, and open sky. So far I love it and I am sure I will for a long time. Now just to learn more about the car and the mods that can be done. I am sure I will pick up some knowledge here. Here is a pic of it.

Congrats on the new car. Sharp looking. Might I suggest a couple of ideas for your 1st "mod" ? Since you are from Vegas, and have Open Sky, these are my ideas:
1) Fitted sun screen for the front windshield
2) Driving gloves to keep from burning your hands on the steering wheel

It is set to go in for tint this morning, I am looking at 20% all around and limo on the open sky panels. I post up picks when its done.

 

Welcome! You should not have any trouble getting info on mods here, we love to spend other peoples money.

 

I have 15% on mine...and as far as tinting the roof panels, I would do a search. Many tint-shops will not do it. Mine won't. Too much risk of cracking the glass up there.

 

All the dealers I talked to said they would do it. One quoted me a price of $60, which seems reasonable.

 

Very cool (hopefully LITERALLY). Let us see some pics when it's all tinted up.

 

I heard about some new tint from 3M that's not that dark but blocks out alot more UV rays, heat, etc. Maybe that might be a good idea for the Las Vegas sun. You can even tint your front windshield, have it look virtually clear and have a cooler cabin.
