And you don't get the "Antennae" message on your radio when using the Satellite radio sometimes?

I think I've found the solution to this. There is something called a Terk converter that will plug into both coax cables and have a single input. This will allow you to bypass that Antenna error and have regular XM signal. It's like $20 on eBay. Just ordered it, so hopefully it works.

Hey guys I'm getting the same exact error message "Antenna" but only sometimes. My XM Reciever has a Green and an Brown Antenna conncetion. I connected it to the green as the Sirius did. I'm going to try the brown only but not hopefull about it. I'm wondering if that terk connection that Jeratain mentioned worked or not. XM is so much better that Siruis... why did they do this to us?

Different strokes.
Personally I hate XM and can't wait to get my Sirius back.

Yes it worked just fine. Ordered it for $20, install was easy, and it worked great. The only thing you have to do is shave a little bit of one connection on the Terk (there's an extra notch), which takes literally a minute with a knife.

They did this to us because Sirius paid Audi money to exclusively use their products maybe? No harm done since you can still use either.

Jeratrain,
Thanks for the information! Do you have any info on the Terk adapter.
