The price is good, but.....damn.

I always told myself that I wouldn't settle for anything but what I really wanted in cars anymore. Having that as a philosophy, I would NEVER purchase that car. It would definitely need to be painted.

Cheers!

Seems like color choice is deeply personal. If you like it, go for it. If not, pass.

Personally, the $450/$700 premium is enough to steer me away from the fancy A3 colors, but I can understand perfectly how someone else could pay that much or more for the color of their choice.

you'll pay 3-5k getting it repainted.

or if youd just like to find a big hat with a feather in it or a furry coat with a cane to match......youd be....

LOL

I'm sure that the coat and cane are cheaper than the paint job.

Cheers!

If you have a vagina, or don't like the vagina... then why question your sexuality buying a purple car!

Trust me, purple loses its novelty pretty quick. I was the unfortunate owner of a purple Neon (oh god help me it was purple AND a neon[]!)

Come on, be honest. How would you feel driving this car? Would you be proud to drive that into your most special event, with all of your friends watching, or would you be conscious and embarassed of the color? Would you look at your A3 and be in love, except for the color? Would you think about that fugly color everytime you looked at it? I would, but those are questions that you need to answer on your own.

Cheers!

Hey, if you like it, buy it. There are only a few around, that color was a $1000 extra new. I think, from watching the internet, that Venetian Violet is a pretty big liability when you want to sell it - right now it appears to be about a $2000 hickey compared to black, gray, white, etc. Some colors simply have a very limited market - takes a while to find the right buyer. But as my car sales buddies say 'there's an *** out there to fit every seat'.
