I'm looking to buy an A3 (automatic, quattro, navigation system) in San Francisco. Is there a way to know how much people are paying for this car? My plan is to buy it cash and I don't want to spend much time negotiating with a dealer.

Any tips or advice would be appreciated!

i just negotiated a 1.5% over invoice price for a custom-ordered a3 tqdsg fully loaded. SF dealer tried to take me for a ride (would have paid $180/mo extra if i took them at their word), then went to oakland and played the two off each other. ended up having both of them agree to invoice +600 and SF also agreed to lock in the current financing.

Did you work with Mike Kim at Royal Motors? I played a custom order yesterday for an A3, fully loaded, Premium plus, quattro and want to be sure I'm getting screwed. What kind of financing did u get? Were you able to negotiate residuals?
