Hi Guys,

My dealer gave me a card to a tuner, but said if ultimately there is damage from the chip its my fault. However he did say if fuel pump goes bad or dv goes bad thats no problem.

I heard some dealers do chips on A3 and gaurentee warranty will be intact? If this is true is there any such dealer in California? I dont care what type of chip it is, thanks.

Did you check with Penske Audi (West Covina)?

They do it as part of their STaSIS package, but I don't know if they'll do just the chip.

Atech from DTM Autohaus in El Monte flashes APR (and maybe GIAC) for Penske.

 

Rusnak in Westlake has a close bond with Neuspeed and will basically "look the other way" should anything go wrong. But they don't actually Flash themselves.

I use these guys too - and they are pretty cool. When you say "look the other way," I agree that's true about having the chip, but should things go "wrong" it's really not up to them. I don't have a lot of faith that Audi wouldn't still try to blame it on the mods if they could. That said, it's definitely better working w/ a dealership that is considerate enough to let you know before they reflash your car.

As Brodieone said, Rusnak Westlake has a working relationship w/ Neuspeed, which at least says they trust that the product is reputable, and will not damage the engine. That was enough for me.

 

I used GMG in Santa Ana for a APR Chip, Turboback exhast and Carbonio intake. Expensive, but they did good work.
