Default CEL code P2004...

...the dealer said it is a "intake manifold runner position sensor" fault code.
They said it was OK to drive until the new parts are ordered and installed, however, it may impact my fuel economy.
Never heard of this one. Anyone else? Any chance my CAI could have caused this issue?!

Well this fault has to do with your air induction system, specifically would be related to a sensor measuring the pressure and velocity at which the air reaches the cylinders through intake manifold. Yeah a Cold Air Intake (CAI) increases the amount of air going into your intake manifold but I don't think it causes a runner position sensor fault?
