Changing wheels & tyres
Hi all,
Not really an Audi specific topic, but I've just bought a set of 16" OEM wheels with tyres off Ebay for my 1.6 A3:
1 x Dunlop @ 7mm 1 x Bridgestone @ 5mm 2 x Accelera @ 7mm
They have been balanced by the company I bought them from, but was wondering (given the tread depths) if there is a rule of thumb for which tyres should go where on my car, e.g. put the 2 Accelera's on the front?
Any help appreciated.

RE: Changing wheels & tyres
It would be my preference to have the best tyres at the front of the car, so as to try and offset understeer. However, it is not desirable to have 2 differnt tyres on the same axle especially in terms of wet weather performance, so I would probably go for the Accelera at the front, though I have never heard of these type of tyres.
