Hey Guys 'n Gals,

Had my A3 ('99 1.8T)for about 4 months now but just realized that my wing mirror glass gets really hot on the car; even when it's not running. i can come to it in the morning after leaving it all night and you could burn your fingers on the glass!!

Anyone got any ideas on what this could be??

Do you have the cold weather package? Maybe the heated side mirrors are malfunctioning. They can draw power from the battery even if the car is off.
