Default check engine light & loss of power

So ive got an 07 A3, APR flash w/chipped & stock modes available.
Drove 800 miles this weekend and along the way sometimes uinder hard alleleration i would loose power and it wouldnt accel. any more it would only hold speed, mabye drop to 90mph.... So after a while the check engine light came on...
my guess is... Diverter valve might have blown... Eurocode did tell me that it could blow, that would cause a loss of boost and thus power...
another is that famous fuel pump issue, but the power that is lost returns after a few min. or sec....

i have that wonderful 7 yr warranty that i paid for.... and i can bring it back to stock....

what do ya reccomend?

Oo i also do have a replacement FORGE DV that i can put on, but i hear that the new diverter valves coming from the factory are even beefier

so thanks in advanced

I had the same problem after I did the APR 93 oct. flash program. I would get to about 80-90 with a hard acceleration, and would have a lose of power. I first changed the DV valve to the forge. The new factory ones still suck. I still had the problem until I recently did the APR fuel pump. Added like 30 hp and no more problems.

It throws a code and goes into temporary limp mode. You're engine is demanding too much fuel for the stock fuel pump to supply, hence the code and why APR came out with a big fuel pump. This is common with all chipped/tuned vehicles.

this is very strange, ive had the chip for5 or so months now and it only started doind this recently.... I mean, ive had it up to 140 and it didnt do that at all...

This is quite disapointing, I wish APR would say that their chip would do this, i probably wouldnt have bought the reflash if i had known that it needed a new fuel pump to go with it...

just makins sure with you guys... Im only running the 91octane program...
Also, you guys with the bigger pump... what fuel consumprion changes have you noticed? also... Parkslosh... you said you noticed a 30hp gain... can you verify? also... is this with the 93oct? or the 91?
and will any performance be seen in the 91 oct program?

Thanks... im definatelythinking that this is the main issue...

witt I have the 93 oct program. I did not dyno the car yet but according to apr with all of my mods that I have with apr they said it was about a 30 hp gain. I felt a serious increase in power. I am not sure about the 91 chip.
