I feel sorry for you guys, not having the option to add Quattro to the 2.0T

I wish I could get my back tires to break loose without being on a curve. That must be some kind of awesome front wheel driver. What option box do you check to get RWD w/o quattro?

Definetly some kind of "awesome" front wheel drive. And I think the "option box" that I checked off to get my "awesome" front wheel drive was:

"I eat smart guys like you for lunch"

Guess you've not been eating in a while because you're hallucinating. :}
Glad you like your car.

OK, Were all idiots... I read the OP word per word and had to check it out. So I went out for a drive today and noticed my back tires spin too! Spin when I'm in R, Spin in D, Spin in S. Made me appreciate the two back wheels in the car. Now to get some spinners.

There is too much torque on the front wheels even without a chipped 2.0T. I noticed over-torque steering when I test drove the 2.0 on hard acceleration and on turns and that's why opted for the 3.2. It's a pity we don't have the option of quattro here for 2.0T.

HA!!! You're right. I apologize. I even suspect that my rear tires spin as much as my front tires unless I get in a hurry, but even then the rear tires are still spinning.

Whoa there... I opted for 300+ less pounds to corner and brake with.
"To Much Torque" is subjective. Its called throttle modulation and I want ALL that torque when I am trying to get around someone at 65-80mph.

The quatro will eat me in snow from a standing start every time and has some advantages on slip angles under heavy cornering, but the rest of the time I am glad I have less weight hanging out over my front axle. Now if I could just get this darn DSG tranny to read my mind I would be all set.

You get more torque @ 65-80mph with the 3.2. It's a preference of course, but gives you more versatility, traction (despite the extra weight), etc. I like the feeling that the power is always available even @ 1200rpm.

At 65mph in 6th gear the 2.0T is in the torquey part of the power curve. And a chipped 2.0T has much more torque than a NA 3.2
