last time i took my car to the dealer, they did a recall on the side trims, dont know what they did, but they did something with the side trims to make them better sealed to the roof top

 

I wax the entire top as well. Waxing glass has the same effect as rain-x does, it just doesnt last as long as rain-x. I rain-x all of the other windows including the sideview mirrors.

There was a recall on my opensky as well. I just did my 25k service and they performed 2 recalls. One was for the opensky roof clips that needed to be replaced and the other was replacing the crankcase ventilation valve. Both were done free of charge of course.
