where is the homelink feature/button in the s-line audi by the way? its not mention in the manual

 

The Homelink buttons are on the drivers visor. You would think that would be a premium package item, but then I would also think lumbar support would be a sport package item. Go figure.

 

Good to know about the compass, I was driving around in circles (literally) as the manual describes trying to callibrate something that did not exist. I sure hope there's video.

So much for the tech package. Also, someone, Swau I think it was said they had gotten their treo to shake hands with the Audi bluetooth- not me, and the firmware is all UTD. So I'm asking myself, did I even GET the tech package? The xenon lights are there but...

Any recommendations on synching the bluetooth anyone? Thanks.

Apparently the mirror with compass feature was recenly removed from the new A3's. Check your MSRP sticker... The compass feature was on mine but not actually included in the car. The dealer talked with audi and got me a new mirror with a COMPASS! If it wasn't on the sticker I would have been out of luck.

 

I guess Audi is required to honor what is suppose to be included on MSRP sticker, good to know that fact. I wonder how many other recent A3 owners could possibly be in luck?

 

New to Forum, just picked up the 07 Audi A3 2.0 T redline yesterday. The compass heading is in the information center where everything else is shown. Still can't forgive audi for no homelink.

 

Mine too has no compass. Even the dealership when demoing the car for me seemed surprised. I have an external navi (nuvi) so I probably won't sweat it, but good to know, I was wondering if it was broken.
