concert code problem
help!having a nightmare. got 2nd radio on ebay. said it was codeless. needless to say it does need a code and the seller is claiming no responsibility.
So, I have a concert (1998). When I turn it on it says SAFE on the display.
How can I go about getting a code for it? Or having it disabled so I can just plug it in?
Thanks
Shaun S

RE: concert code problem
There are places where you can take the radio to and they will either crack the code for you, or remove the security code function all together. A car breakers yard should be able to do it, or direct you to someone who can.

Another thing to do, would be to request a refund of the seller, if they refuse file a claim with eBay/PayPal, since the item supplied to you is effectively useless. Filling with PayPal (if you paid that way) is usually best, as they can simply refund your original payment, after consulting both of you.
