how much does the dealer charge to add on the bluetooth option

It's one thing to get it as a factory installed option. I am sure that it would prob cost quite a bit more to have it installed afterwards at the dealer. You would have the hardware costs and then labor which we all know ain't cheap at an Audi dealer (yes, I said ain't)

Dealer told me that you can't add it aftermarket through the dealer. You're better off going with the Parrot set-up and getting the steering wheel integration piece for our cars. It will look and act factory.

Here is where you can get that interface for your steering wheel controls. We have detailed instructions and help you as much as possible with the install and setup. We are a parrotdistributor as well so any questions on functionality we are more than capable of answering them for you

I recently installed a parrot ck3000 evolution + parrot multican steering wheel interface. This unit cost ~$90.

Will these kits dim the audio on the radio as the factory setup would??

yes, upon making and reciving a call the radio will mute allowing the call to come through the factorystereo speakers.
