I installed a custom intake on my buddys A3 today and thought I would share. The Greddy pipe was purchased on ebay for around 20$ already polished and everything. I picked up a spectre red coupler at pepboys and a yellow "Greddy" style Nopi brand filter for 10$ (I actually got 2 filters since they were dirt cheap.) I took the stock paper filter up in the airbox and gutted it for just the seal. Not sure if that box would seal otherwise with no filter so we used just the rubber part around the filter to make sure it sealed. So all in all I'm happy with my 45$ intake.





Still plan to cut down that bolt and get it to sit flush...might have to rethread it...idk...lol it's blocked for now. The hose runs to a breather filter a little closer to the front of the bay.
