Dead Pixels!
I have a new 2008 A3, bought 2 weeks ago today and I think I discovered a row of dead pixels on the driver information display. When I'm driving, there is a black line, right above the red line separating the radio information and the outside temperature. When i switch to the start menu, it is between the word "set" and "check". I'll try to snap a good picture of it, but I wanted to post and make sure this isn't normal. Even though the line of dead pixels doesn't run through any displayed information, I'd still like to get it fixed asap.
Hi there,
I'm not sure if it's normal or not, but my car has the same line. On my car, it doesn't interfere at all with any of the information displayed, so I have not done anything about it or found out if it can be fixed. I have heard others notice the same problem though.
