Are you able to put your iPhone in the mount with one hand? Is it secure enough to just press it into the dock without it moving?

You certainly can. It takes a little getting used to and can be difficult in the dark. But the dock is rock solid. You just have to flip up the top and place it in completely. It's like a baby crib for your phone. It's very well designed.

Default iphone4

a buddy of mine plugged his iphone4 into my car and the result was the CD changer stuck in a track changing loop—We didn't spend much time messing with it, so I'm not sure if anything can be done but it definitely did not work at the time. Really stinks cause I'll be upgrading sometime this year.

I tested my gf's 4 and it worked just like my 3gs.

I run into that glitch occasionally with mine, Tehtrav. I think it's just the programming. I just take it out of the cradle and turn the stereo off and put it back in and that usually solves it. It's still the best solution and does a great job.

On another side note, has anyone had any luck upgrading the firmware? I've tried several times to no avail. I've downloaded all the files and tried running it but it just seems to do nothing.
