Dice iPod kit installed successfully (mostly).
Once the stereo's out, it's an easy install. The track names don't come up like they're supposed to and the steering wheel won't change tracks, but the steering wheel volume works and the sound is great. Running the cable to the passenger foot well was easy.
I needed an out of the ordinary screwdriver to attach the ground wire to the stereo, but no biggie.
For $160 I'm pretty happy.

track names aren't supposed to come up on the head units. audi doesn't support it.
you should be able to change tracks and volume via the steering wheel controls. check the dip switches on the back of the dice unit.

I tried the dip switches both ways but no info/track control. I will try that again, but I was thinking it was because I didn't disconnect the power. It says in the online manual that you need to do that for it to initialize properly.

Mine work fine - just installed it today. Only problem I had was an "WSP FAULT" warning which came on the first few times I started the car, but went away, and the fact that I seem to have lost the ability to close the windows and sunroof via the drivers door lock mechanism. Does anyone know the method to make the car relearn this? I know I saw someone talk about it....

The reset sequence is in the A3 manual I think. Or just call Dice.
Which color plug did you replace at the back of the deck? I think I pulled the green one (the inside one)
