Default Disable the rear wash/wiper

Audi A3 1.9 TDi (2004)
I am trying to disable the rear wash/wipe to make a short journey with a rear mounted bike rack. The fuse box is mounted in the engine compartment so does not have the isolation fuse present. I need to disconnect so have removed 2 torx screws on the rear hatch lining but the lining will not budge. Can someone tell me where the lugs are that are keeping this lining fixed or how to disable the wiper.

Ta.

Frank

Many thanks Dave - I asked for this from Audi and all I got was patronising rhetoric about safety when reversing at speed andliability blah blah...
Let's hope I don't trap my fingers.
