Can anyone out there tell me if there is any performance improvements from the "C" version OEM DV valve to the the "G" version? Or does it just provide better reliability?

Good question. I'm not sure that anybody knows because the "G" just came out. My guess is that they are still just stiffening the holding power of the rubber diaphram, but you won't see a hp gain between the two, as long as each is intact.
