Engine mount removal help
Going crazy trying to remove the engine mount on a 2005 A3 2.0 FSI T.
Its a RHD car and there is not even close to enough room to get it out. I have managed to undo the timing cover so I can move that about but it dosn't seem any help.
From the net I hear some people loosen the transmission mount which I assume I will find underneath the battery box if I remove that. Not sure exactly what they mean by loosen as from what I can see of a picture of the mount it looks like the bolts would have to be completely removed to get enough movement of the engine.
Any help or alternative suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated.
Thanks in advance!

Update
Might have found something on the web that will work.
It seems there is one manual that differs from the two I have. It suggests that by unhooking the drive shafts, exhaust and catalytic converter from the turbo and unclipping the air conditioning hoses from the body, you can then lift the engine high enough to remove the mount.
Will try this method tomorrow.
Still keen on any other ideas/thoughts in the meantime.
Thanks!
