Forge Motorsport Replacement Diverter Valve
Like to say first off this is a awsome site. Secondly is anyone using the Forge Motorsport Replacement Diverter Valve. I talked with APR dealer today and they advised the R1 Diverter would not work on my 2007 A3 S-LINE. But advised NOT TO go with the FORGE because of voiding the factory warranty. So I would like to know who has any experience with this FORGE diverter? The link to the site is.................

No problem!
I've had my Forge DV for the last couple visits to the dealer and they haven't said one word to me. Then again, I wasn't trying to get any problem fixed, only normal maintenance.
Cheers!

i used that the forge DV on my 2000 1.8t jetta,i got it from Pacific Audi here in socal and they sold it as a replacement for the OEM DV,thus not affecting the warranty
dont know bout the 2.0t engines though

How nice of them. Any aftermarket valve will affect the warranty the same amount. Which is to say they have to prove that the valve caused a problem in order to deny you warranty work. Federal law.
That being said, nearly every system in the can be traced to the ECU, thus nearly any warranty claim can be denied if you have your car "chipped". Wonder if they would advise you against purchasing their ECU programming for your car?

that jetta was also chipped (APR) done at Hartman motorsports here at the OC,though service people knew it was chipped, they did not give me any problems, they even replaced a burned out MAS sensor, under waranty caused by K&N air filter oil sticking to the MAS wires,i guess it depends on the dealership service persona
