Front license plate
I finally got my plates today, i went to put the front one on, but i noticed that the actual plates rest on a plastic fascia that is screwed in the girll. if i remove the fascia, what's underneath? will it look like the rest of the grill? does anyone know?
There's just a plate underneath that holds the fascia; the grille does not continue underneath. At my dealership there were a few on the lot without the bumper cover or license plate holder.
Check with your dealer. They replace the front plastic panel with the one that holds the license plate when the car arrives from the port. I just asked the sales guy to switch it for me and now I do not have one that holds the license plates. He gave me a lecture aboutno front plate eing illegal in Texas.whatever. i'll take my chances. I've seen plenty of cars without the front plate.

Just remember to put your license plate of your dash when you park. I left my car at LAX when i went on a trip and had a nice $30 ticket when i got back.

Not sure that putting the plate in the window will automatically save you from that either? I work right next to LAX, and those cops are dicks!
What about replacing with a euro filler and then telling the cop that the car came without holes for the front when delivered from factory?
I got a ticket once with my old Avalanche parked with no front plate -- whether it's LAX or Hollywood, LA cops are all the same.
