Hello all. Just wanted to say a quick hello and introduce myself as one of the newest Audi A3 owners. This is my 1st Euro car, and so far I'm enjoying the heck out of it.

I've always liked the white with the black top of the Open Sky. Definitely a thumbs up on tinting it too!

The nice thing about the 2006 model is that you can get those orange markers smoked or cleared at our ecs sponsor, good luck .

 

Nice pics, and happy B-day...the 15% tint looks sick on white. Soon as my blacked out grille comes, I'm definetly going to have to get the tint job. I just don't feel comfortable with some guys handling my car at one of those tinting places that's used to working on Hondas all day!

 

Thank you everybody. I am going to enjoy the car "as-is" for a while so that when I do start my modding, I will enjoy and appreciate it that much more. The tint job was handled by a friend's shop. I have had several cars tinted there, so I trusted them. This was their 1st A3 to do. I do think that I will get a good radar detector this week, since I find myself doing a little more spirited driving than I had been doing in my previous vehicle. Also changing out the head unit either this week or next week so that I can get my iPod hooked up AND be able to see the artist/song information.
