I would like to hard-wire my GPS and radar detector into my A3. I would like it so that when the ignition is off or when the key is pulled these devices shut down. I have already but together 12V to 5V adapter that I will need to tuck away (I actually have this for my GPS and my Creative Zen).

Also any recommendations on a integration kit for my Zen - I don't mind if the adapter is made for an IPOD as long as it an additional AUX input.
