Default help me please

i have audi a3 2008 s-line 2.0 t and every 3000 mile my oil is going down from max to min dealer said its ok but i think i have licking there. i know that turbo taking little oil but its to much... who can tell me is it normal or i should worry about it?

It depends how you drive your car? I you drive your car hard, it will use about a quart every 3k. I drive my 2006 moderately and I use about a quart every 5-7.5k. Yes, turbo's will burn oil, it is how they cool themselves off. It is also a product of their design, but this is one of the few quirks of the engine, other wise it is an awesome engine

One of the most annoying things about the car is the amount of oil it burns. But like az said, the turbo needs it.

Good to know thanks!! I'm new with Audis, I had a Jetta (Bora) and it did the same, 2.5L 5 cil, I drove hard.

thank you for help im driving it hard... i have a question if you puting cheep to engine its do some damage to engine?
