i have a 2008 red audi a3.....the grill is already balcked out....if i were to black out the rear lights is it illegal and how much is it? and second question .... how can i paint my rims black but good quality... and how much would that be?

check with your local law enforcement about the tail light tints. some might be ok w/ it as long as the lights still come through visible enough. you can DIY using a can of VHT Night Shade...or find Lamin-X Tint.

To get good quality black rims, get them powdercoated. Its a more permanent process then just getting them painted. I got them done for $80/each.

 

I got some 17" Avus wheels powder coated black for winter wheels on A3. They look sharp. Get your A3 windows tinted too, makes these rides look sort of sinister, but I like it.

 

how much did it cost to powdercoat ur 17's?
