High rev - MAF?
Hello,
I just changed my clutch on my Audi A3 1999 1,8T, and the rev started to behave weird.
When I started the car after the service, the rev was about 4-500rpm and wanted to stop. I also noticed apower loss.
I have now tried to clean my MAF, but with no success. the rev goes nowup to about 1800rpm for 3-4 sec and then down to normal (800rpm)???? This also happens when I shift gear when the car is in motion, and the power loss is still there. So after i cleaned my MAF the car behaved different, but not any better.
I have tried to configure the MAF settings after this, but I can't seem to set it right because the MAF is not responding. I have heard that this problem also could mean a change of the main computer in the car. Is this right?
Is this a common problem? Do I have to change the MAF or some other components?
The car is going on AudiService Wednesday (25.07.07), so I really would appreciate a response before Wednesday (today is Monday 23.07.2007).
