Default How to Replace Front Marker Light

Hello,

I have a 2007 Audi A3 2.0T S-Line. The front amber marker light just blew and the manual says to bring it into the dealer to have it replaced (?!?). Can someone let me know how I can do this myself? Does the light pop out from the front? Or do I need to access it through the hood or tire well?

Thanks!
William

It is simple to replace. My marker is in a slightly different place, but you can access it from under the car if you remove the front underbelly. Just remove the wire harness with the bulb and replace. Not too hard.

Cheers!

The ones on the sides of the car have two clips if you carefully use a very small screw drvr and get that in between the body and the marker (use a rag to protect the paint) and pry out, the bulb will be connected to the marker merely twist out and replace.

If you are replacing marker with a after market unit its best to seal the edges with crazy glue or a thin coat of silicone those tend to let a lot of moisture in . Good luck.
