Default I finally got it!!!

Well, I have been without a car for about a year and 2 months now, car sharing with my fiance (honda crv) and I finally pulled the trigger after much research. I picked up my baseline Audi A3 3.2 S-line black on black. Only option is opensky. Let me start out by telling you that I have been back and forth between an Audi (A3 3.2 Quattroas well as A4 2.0T quattro) and lexus is250 AWDfor the better part the year. Finally, i decided to test drive the 3 cars back to back to back and it was really no contest. IS250 = souped up scion w/ AWESOME luxury features and a pathetic v6 that should be ashamed of itself only putting out 184 ft/lbs of torque as well asno response/road feelfrom the steering wheel. I did give up a substantial amount of luxury, but hey, thats ok, cause I will whoop the $hitizzle out of the IS250 every time i see one![:-] The A4 2.0t was not really even close in my opinion to the A3 3.2 as an overall package. I had the same amount of money to spend forregardless of the car so I was not able to afford an a4 3.2 quattro if you were wondering.

Yea! I am so excited --- i will post pics sometime soon.

Can't believe you sprung for a 3.2 - what a baller. Congratulations! Know you're gonna love it, they feel so planted and secure.

I'm convinced the 3.2 has one of the most reliable drivetrains out there. Sure it's heavy and nowhere near as cutting edge as the FSI, but it was the one for me. Then again, I'm not looking for lots of mods though.
