i have my mind set on buying a used 2007 audi A3. I have a question and i hope somebody can answer it. I found a 2007 A3 for $14,000.00 but it has 77k miles on it. is it worth it for me to buy it with that much miles?

My camshaft broke on an A3 from 2006 at 85 000 miles....

 

that's right around when the car needs some major service --- find out if the former owner has changed the timing belt, camshaft, fuel pump, and has done a carbon cleaning --- that right there is at least $3000 worth of repairs

 

I ve got my car from audi salvage, its the same as yours 07 audi A3, I bought it about 2 years ago but it had a salvage title (had an accident front end damage) So I can't say for sure, but I think it is a normal price and its worth it. But I agree with the comments above - yo ushould find out more information form the owner so that you could estimate how much it is really worth.

 

Thanks for the replys. I ended up purchasing a BMW. I missed out on red sline a3. It got sold by the time I decided to buy it. My gf has a 2009 gti. I believe it has the same motor so I know how fun it is to drive. Kinda wish a got a a3 jus because its not common to see one on the road and the car looks badass

 

What is the difference between an Audi s3 and a Audi a3 sline shape?
I am looking to buy an Audi but unfortunately can't get insured on an s3, I like the shape of the s3 so have been told to look at the Audi a3 slines. Is there a difference in these two shapes?

 

I don't think there is a difference in the shape, the S Line package includes many of the options that the 3.2 has with regards to looks, rear spoiler, lower body at front and sides etc. I don't know your location but I have mine posted for sale, low miles 2007 A3 with S line and cold weather package....
