new to the Audi scene last car was a Subaru WRX

looking to buy an Audi A3 1.8 Turbo sport petrol on a 1997 plate before I do I have a few queries I hope people can help me with please

1) what kind of bhp is standard on these

2) realistically what kind of bhp can it reach

3) what modifications to increase performance, im presuming decat exhaust, ported headers etc ... ???
