INSURANCE anyone?

INSURANCE anyone?
New on here, hi to everyone!
Its that wallet hurting time again that comes around once a year, I'm the proud owner of a Audi A3 tdi SPORT, a great car but a bit on the expensive to insure.
I'm 32 with 10years no claims and 3 points for speeding (f===ing cameras!), the best quote I have is with Esure, £366.95.
Just hoping one of you guys might know a cheaper insurer?
Many thanks, Andy andyscar@msn.com

RE: INSURANCE anyone?
Well, from the other side of the pond, that's not too bad. I have really good insurance and pay just slightly more a year than that in California, with the current conversion rate. I would expect the TDI to cost less in insurance if they base rates on horsepower too. I wish they had the new TDI Sport over here.

their are a million factors that go into rating insurance: age, driving record, annual mileage, discounts, and a major factor is your credit. If you have crappy credit your price can go up as much as $1000. A little advice for saving money say you only drive 4000 miles a yr 2 days a week to work 2 miles one way, and you have a passive alarm system. also you get a big discount usually for having an auto and a home policy with one company.....

I am with Zurich, have the A3 quattro 1.8T S and they have quoted me £660 per year fully comp with free breakdown assistance. Give them a try, but I think they rely heavily on your postcode to calculate the premium
