Default intakes

Hey all, i'm wondering if anyone can reccomend any intakes for the 06-07 A3 in the US? I've looked at the Carbinio, and Nuespeed so far...totally different design, i like the carbinio's stock look, but fear it wont make any difference other then looks. My other fear is the neuspeed isn't smog legal in california...anyone have any answers or other reccomendations for me?

save your pennies and get it chiped. you'll be better off for it. the intake does about nothing.

I'm sure i'll chip it in the future. by far the best bang for the buck, but i'm looking at additional things. to help enhance sound / looks as well.

My car goes into K&N on Monday morning to prototype their new intake. They said at worst it will be 90 days before production, and at best they already have something that works and need to update their inventory. I'll let you know how that one goes next week.

Good luck!
