Default iPod Smart Playlist??

Has anyone figured out a way to use "Smart Playlists" with the OEM Audi iPod adapter?

ie. in iTunes you can create a playlist that includes your 'top 25 played songs' and it will constantly change based on what you have been listening to recently... or you can have the playlist be 'recently added music' and the playlist only has music you have added within the last XX amount of days...

I have been unsuccessful in figuring out how to get the car to use these playlists... but would be a hell of a lot happier if I could figure out a way.

Anyone figured this out??

Don't think you can do that.

How does your stereo decide which playlists to play? Is it based on the name of the playlist?

The stereo can only tell the iPod controller what to do by selecting the disc in the "cd changer" (which it thinks the ipod is) - the ipod controller then decides the rest. GROM includes simple instructions telling you what each CD in the changer does.

the oem ipod will pick the first six playlists and call them cd 1-6. CD 6 is actually the entire ipod library.
Label your five favorite playlists to begin with 1-5 for example
1_allsongs_noholiday
2_rock
3_jazz
etc...
