Looks pretty good!

Does anyone know why Audi North America uses those horrible yellow lights in the bumper? I noticed that US BMWs have the amber side marker in the headlight housing. I still don't like all that garish amber on the front of the car, but still better than where Audi puts the markers in my opinion.

Strange that the US does not require read amber turn signals (Which offer a safety advantage) but require them upfront whey they are ugly!

Mcgagnon, I like the looks of them. Where did you get them, and how much?

$14.95 fortwo sheets available here http://lamin-x.com/ecommerce/os/cata...12ea1d1af2adf4
Color: Charcoal (Darkest)

They are not pre-cut, but are fairly easy to cut. They are the 8" X 4" Color Film Sheets (Pack of 2) - Charcoal. If you cut what you need carefully, it only takes one sheet, and the other one can be a spare. ( for an S-Line SideMarker that is).

You take the sidemarker out as per ECS Tuning instructions (from the outside with a small screwdriver).
- On a table, you place the sidemarker on top of the vinyl without sticking it yet (Don't take the peeler offyet). With sharp scissor, roughly cut a rectangle shapethat will fit the entire sidemarker.
- Now take the peeler off the vinyl rectangle you just cut. Placeflat on a table (Sticky side up) and place the marker gently on top of the vinyl, it is very forgiving, you can try again if you did not put it on right the first time.
- It says you don't need to wet iffor small parts, i did notand it didn't make any bubbles or anything, nice and smooth.
- Now cut theextra out - Take a box cutter knife(New blade if possible),turn the side marker facing up in your left or right hand, the tint will be facing towards the ceiling. From underwith your other hand, hold the box cutter likeif you're going to peel an apple, follow the edge of the sidemarker while cutting the extra vinyl, if you are careful, it will make a nice edge. (Be careful not topeel the plasticedge of the sidemarker).
It's just like peeling an apple

Thank's so much mcgagnon. I will definitely be doing this as I can't find any sidemarkers already smoked out to replace mine with.

Is your ' button sticky or something? hahaha

what kind of light output are you receiving after the charcoal film ? i've been debating between the charcoal, or the smoked that lamin-x offers...charcoal seems way too blacked out for me, almost as if it was just plainted straight black

The light still comes thru good, it has a nice tinted hue. However, for tailights i will put smoke rather than charcoal just to be safe.
