Default leather interior kit for 2007 a3

I have a 2007 2.0T MT - love the car, but now regret not shelling out the xtra bucks to get leather interior.

Has anyone converted their cloth to leather? If so, how did you do it?

THanks in advance

The OEM leather has a tendency to crack every 18 months, due to overuse... An aftermarket kit is probably a better bet - I don't know of any out there, though.

My side bolster just cracked on my 06 drivers seat... I'm not a happy camper. I would think your best bet is to go aftermarket.

Actually, it is not leather that is cracking. The side bolsters of the front seats (probably the back, too) are actually vinyl on the "leather" interiors.

Where there is real leather, it is not the best stuff. There area few A3's out there with a "Nappa" leather upgrade (may have been limited to 3.2's) - much better quality, and probably leather everywhere.
