Hi. I need to know for sure before I make an offer on this A6 Avant whether this is a leather interior or not. It looks like it to me but can't be sure. The vendor (an auction) say they don't have it in the spec so can't tell me. I dont want to waste a trip down there if it's not leather! Thanks.

 

that looks like leather to me. No "cloth" seating looks like that, no matter how thick is the fabric used.

ps it is a 2007 S Line 2.7TDi if that helps (UK model)...

 

I don't think any Audi models are coming with cloth seats, but I may be wrong.

 

It's leather

 

I think its leather too (does audi even offer cloth seats???). Do a google search on automotive leather, there are 2 kinds. One is just plain leather (sometimes died dring tanning for color) the other is leather that has been coated with a colored PVC coating. You'll only find the died leather in super high end models (ferrari, lambo, aston martin, etc) because its very expensive.

At least in the States the base car came standard with leather seating surfaces in 2007. There was an available option to upgrade to Premium Volterra full leather upholstery (seats, armrest & door panel inserts). From the picture I can't tell if it has the upgraded seats.
