Hi everyone. Im looking to purchase an 06 A3 2.0t. Can anyone give me advice on what to ask about when I take the car to a mechanic to look over? Is there anything I need to be instantly concerned about? The car has over 60k miles.

i know it's been a month since your post, but you should check the dv, the pcv, the cam follower and fuel pump. those are the parts that are known to fail on our cars. should also look at how much carbon buildup you have. the ac compressor on some 2006's were also problematic.

despite these issues, it's a fun car. hope you're enjoying it.
