I just got an ipod adapter put in my car. I have navi plus serius radio. There is a very low beeping sound constantly. Even when my car is off it beeps. Its weird. My navi disc seems like its spinning at all times too even when shut my car off. My navi disc wont eject either. Can this be causing this very low beeping sound? Its almost low enough to just turn the stereo up louder and not hear it but when I listen to low sounding music or spoken word stuff it drives me crazy .... anyone have any idea what this could be?

my ipod adapter is direct line in ... not fm transmitter. It took the place of my cd changer.

Never heard of this before. Are you using the OEM Audi adapter or a third party kit like Dice? Can you locate the general area of the beeping? Is it coming from the head unit area, glove box, speakers (one/all) etc?
