mayb dv question

Default mayb dv question

when i accel to around like 35k rpm in first and let off the gas it does this like chugging thing....could that be helped w/ a better dv valve or have on...i dunno if i have one do they come stock?

If you have the 2.0T, then it will have a diverter valve. This is a part of the turbo system. I hope you don't rev to 35000 rpm, or you wouldn't have a motor left by now. I assume you meant 3.5k (3500) rpm. Do you have the manual or DSG tranny? If you have the DSG, and were in auto mode it could be the tranny that was ready to shift into second but because you let off the throttle it now wants to go to third instead of second. This is due to the dual clutch arrangment - one clutch for 1-3-5 gears and the other for 2-4-6 gears. That would be normal because the car is having to shift from first to third using the same clutch, something it wasn't expecting to do. If you have the manual, then maybe someone else could help.
